Leather

Leather is renowned for its durability, insulation, and protection from the weather.

LOVED FOR A LIFETIME

Though it comes with superior performance features, the leather industry is known to be highly unregulated, contributing to deforestation, over-use of water and highly toxic tanning processes. Hence, we work with a few select suppliers to ensure we are sourcing responsibly and supporting suppliers who adhere to protecting animal rights.

Our suppliers aim to source New Zealand Real Grade Leather and their tanneries are Leather Working Group certified. This helps us to ensure the skins are direct by-products from the meat and dairy industry, that strict animal welfare standards are practiced, and that superior chemical management is followed.

Our quality standards ensure your leather products will be loved for a lifetime.

Polyester and other manufactured synthetic fibres such as nylon and elastane are derived from petroleum. As the burning of fossil fuels such as petroleum is a major contributor to climate change, we are working towards minimising our use of synthetic materials and limit it to garment functionality or performance purpose, and where possible, try to use recycled synthetics and man-made cellulosics as responsible alternatives.
